An update on the current situation. If you read earlier posts in this thread, you will note that the finances are very tight and that we have been unable to pay my daughters school fees this term.

To make matters worse, I accidentaly went overdrawn on my bank account (first time in my life) and was also charged a penalty fee for late payment on my credit card. I also went out this past weekend and had a meal out, something of a rarity. The meal was awful( they burnt the roll that the "hamburger" was on-how difficult is that !) and I was too hungry to complain and wait for a replacement.

Anyway, my wife informs me this evening that the school has decided to take us off the billing system so now we do not have to pay school fees. I have written a letter of gratitude to the headmistress, expressing our appreciation for this, also stating that as soon as finances permit, we will settle all outstanding fees. And we did not even ask for this, we just explained what the current situation was. Fortunately for us, they see my daughter as an asset to the school-thank goodness for that. Funny how things come your way, even when not expressly requested. I guess someone is looking out for us!

Hopefully now things will start looking up from the finances side of things and life will just get better.

Hello again! Look around on the homepage of UoP to find many articles about limiting beliefs and other aspects of clearing the way to creating what you want. There are lots of threads on the forum too, that discuss all of this. One thing I will say is that you sound very dedicated, but maybe too "heavy" about it. How does all this feel to you? Does it feel fun and exciting and full of potential? Or is it like doing homework? Creating isn't about slogging through the routine or putting in time; it's about aligning your energy with the kind of life you want. You might want to check out Lynn Grabhorn's Excuse Me Your Life Is Waiting, or the sequel by Doreen Banacek, Excuse Me Your Life Is Now for some insight into this. You can also listen to our interview with Doreen here. It's really more the feeling you tap into than the procedures you use, so make sure that you are connected there!

When you have a few specific goals in mind, is it best to focus just on 1 till you achieve it or can you focus on a bunch of goals? How would you organize your goals for the best chance of achieving them?

What are some techniques for clearing unwanted beliefs and thoughts about yourself?

What some other rituals you guys do everyday to keep on the pathway to success?

I script out my goals and read them everyday
I watch mind movies 2 times a day
I go over my goals once a day
I meditate at least 5x/week
I discuss with certain people in present tense what i am doing after achieving my goals
I read empowering material a few times a week

I am just looking for some other suggestions and techniques to help keep the law of attraction working for me!!!!

Blackstream,

I'm not familiar with this either. I can see a few ways this would be helpful-- it is still about attraction, but here it implies that the attraction works both ways! You know, of course, that you want dollars. That doesn't have to be said. Saying that dollars want you implies that the feeling is mutual, so to speak and multiplies the power of the attraction. It also implies a cooperativeness instead of that awful feeling we can get that we are pursuing something that is fleeing from us!

The other thing I think it does is to remove the process from our own snarl of history, limiting beliefs and fears. I want dollars can carry quite a weight of negative history with it, whereas Dollars want me, is more impersonal, without that baggage of past events and experiences.

It's a great way of looking at this, I'm sure it will be very helpful.

Thanks for your kind words!! I also wanted to note that I noticed when I get angry that those things always are negative. I am doing much better and calm down to the point is when I move in my new home that I will start to meditate every day just to keep the negative away. We as humans are creators and I love that because no matter what we think, thoughts become things. I also sit back and watch other people say things and complain them poof it happens. I am a so interested when this great universe is so exact on what it delivers its just so amazing. Also thank you about the comment about my parents because they are kind people and are helping us out a lot. And I know that this is happening because the universe is giving me what I want and thats to get a long with my family plus so I can draw more love and positive into my life.

The LOA teaches that we must decide what we want, let go and believe that we will receive and then allow it to happen, etc-this is the abbreviated version, I know.

I have just finished reading a book called "Dollars want me. The new road to opulence". It was written by Henry Harrison Brown and first published in 1903, so the style of writing and language usage is somewhat dated. However, the message that it teaches differs from that of the current version of LOA.

There are many little lessons in this book, but the premise of the book is moving away from saying "I want..." to for example "dollars want me as opposed to I want dollars. Another example is by saying "you want my business" tends to attract business, etc.

Just wondering if you have come across this methodology before and what your thoughts are. If you would like the pdf version of the book (58 pages), just send me private message with your email address and I will send it on to you.

Yes, this is a great way to fill yourself with the feeling of abundance.

You might like the Abraham material, as a way of learning about emotions (since you mentioned anger). If you don't know Abraham, they teach the message that your emotions are a guidance system to tell you what you are heading towards. Ask and It Is Given is a great way to learn how to read and change your emotional position, so that you attract more of the things you want. I think you'll love it!

Hello and that is a perfect way to change the way you feel and of course your frequency. I will for now on say in my mind I give thanks and I know that 10 times as much is on the way back to me, Thank You, Thank you. Thank's this is a great tool to pulling money to anyone as longs you know in your soul it is true because the universe always deliver. I think we are all very powerful and today's society let us believe that we are these little beings in the universe that have no power. When I took in the Secret over a year ago it changed my life dramatically. I ask, believe, and recieve in my heart. This has changed my life in so many ways but I will admit that I am working on anger, and being positive all the time. I can only say this, let everything go meaning just think what you want, believe its yours and don't focus on what you don't want. I have focused on many things like bills and such and now I don't and say the universe will always deliver. Guess what? it sure does so believe. Awesome way of attracting money and thank yuo very much for this little trick lol I will use it all the time I spend money and expect it to come back 10 times more.

Hello all my name is Nick Adams and I live in Robertsville, MO and 31 years old male with a great and wonderful woman. I learned about the secret over a year or so ago and had to really start focusing when I learned this way of life. I am a full-time college student living in a mobile home that is really not the best and I wanted more. One day we went out to visit my mom and dad in robertsville,mo because we just wanted to get away from the current place we are staying in because I felt like there was way to much negativity. As we started driving on my parents road we spotted a doublewide with 2.2 acres up for bid and I stopped my car instant to get out and look. Now its important to remember I never really noticed this place before that day but I heard a whisper in my ear " Welcome Home"!!! that's why I stopped. As we continued to talk more and more about our new home we put the pictures as our wallpapers, visualized living there right down the road from my parents, having our own freedom in the country. I want to also note Im a college student at 31 and not working ATM so I keep reassuring my wife don't worry about the money it will come when we need and the universe will deliver every single time. One week before the auction my mom calls and tells me that my dad wanted to help and put the money up for the place so we could start our life fresh and have a good start. Now when we heard that my wife and myself said thank you, thank you so much for delivering to the universe!! We took actions like started to pack before the auction because we are stating to the universe we are in alignment with what must be delivered.

Now it's auction day Feb 15, 2010 and I stated there will be no one there to bid but maybe an online person. This was so true and I looked at all of the hints for me from the universe that its here. Another hint from the universe was the bidding number my mom got which was 19. The address had 2 which I didn't know so the 2nd address was number 19!!! The universe was like told ya I do exist!! The bidding started and my mom bidded and said she only could work with 20k so I stated mom we will be ok I promise. As 20 came my mom kept bidding and then as it hit 36 from my mom someone online bidded 37!!! Mom couldn't go any further and at the last minute the bidder dropped his bid so my mom became the highest bidder and we now have a new home for 36,000. Waiting on bank to call back and accept and they will but to make a long story short that my parents are basiclly paying for this all and no money has came out of my pocket!!! I will pay them back and not worried about that as the universe will take care of me and my wife. I just wnted to tell people that the universe works every single time but you must focus on what you want because even though it looked bad for a brief moment I never lost hope in the universe and knew that home was mine. Also I told my parents I would pay the closing cost when my pell check came in and I could wait on getting my macbook for my next degree. Then 2 days later they told me that they will pay for the closing and not to worry about it and to get what I needed. Now do you see how the universe works? Thought's become thing's!!! I believe this in my soul and live every day like it's magical because it really is what you want. The next thing I am going to want is 50,000 by Xmas 2010. I don't know how it will come and don't care because the universe will deliver. I am a up and coming programmer and want to work from home plus sell my software online. This way I can spend all the time with my family. The universe will deliver as longs as I visualize and believe it's already mine. Thank's all I will keep you posted and in December I will be writing back to tell you I have 50,000 and it was all because of what I thought so the universe did deliver like it always does!!
